  According to , Newcastle hold a keen interest in Wolves star Strand Larsen as they search for reinforcements up front. The Magpies are dealing with uncertainty around the future of star striker Isak, who wants to leave St James' Park for Liverpool, and it is thought they want to bring in an immediate replacement for the Swede if he does leave as well as a back-up option.

  The report claims talks have taken place between intermediaries rather than the two clubs. Strand Larsen is not thought to be agitating for the transfer but is open to a move late in the window after impressing during his first season in England. The 25-year-old enjoyed a productive year in the Premier League during 2024-25, netting 14 times in 35 appearances as the Wanderers produced a positive run of form towards the end of the campaign to edge away from relegation danger.
